Use of CQC Data
- We do not alter or edit official CQC ratings.
- We provide additional user-friendly groupings (e.g. “New Group Category” and “New User Friendly Category”) to make services easier to browse.
- Categories have been grouped for usability. Original CQC labels can be accessed here.
- This platform only displays providers with published CQC ratings. Some newly registered or unrated practices may not appear.
Preference Scores and Analysis
- In addition to CQC’s official ratings, this platform provides preference scores (e.g. waiting times, safety, emotional support).
- These scores are not official CQC outputs. They are generated by our own text-analysis software, which infers patterns from inspectors’ published reports.
- Preference scores are normalised to allow fairer comparison across providers.
- Dental services are assessed by regulatory compliance rather than a composite score; rankings for dental providers are based mainly on user-selected preferences.
Limitations
- This website is only suitable for exploring medical services in England.
- While we strive to ensure accuracy, no warranty is given that rankings or scores fully reflect the quality of care provided.
- Users should always consider official CQC reports and professional advice when making healthcare decisions.
